As an IT security specialist, you will be a key person in our active digitization work where we contribute to improved functions while ensuring that hydropower systems and IT services are both secure and available.

You will be part of the Development and IT/OT Security group, your closest colleagues work as IT Architects, OT Security Specialist, IT Project Manager and IT Management Manager. The world around us has tightened the demands on our practice and capabilities, which gives us important, exciting and fun challenges ahead.

With us, you will work with both operational and tactical IT security issues linked to the organization's goals and strategies. For example, you will:

  • Operate and develop IT security work within Vattenfall Vattenkraft
  • Maintain a current situation picture in the IT security area and communicate it to relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct IT security audits and reviews of new and existing IT systems
  • Interpret regulations and requirements in the field and ensure compliance
  • Participate in supporting system owners and information owners in IT security classifications of systems
  • Managing, reporting and following up incidents
  • Collaborate with IT specialists from Vattenfall's other companies and business units, participate in group-wide networks, such as IT security forums where you represent Vattenfall Vattenkraft.

You will continuously collaborate with, among others, IT project managers, IT architects, OT security specialists, information security coordinators (BISO) and both internal and external suppliers.

Your background

You have a post-secondary education in, for example, computer and systems science, or other experience and training that we consider equivalent, as well as current experience of working in IT security.

We are looking for you with knowledge and experience in some of the following areas:

  • IT security classification of systems, for example according to the CIA triad
  • Security audits of IT systems
  • Swedish security protection legislation, NIS or NIS2 regulation
  • Requirement setting of security tests, penetration tests and similar
  • Risk and vulnerability analyses linked to IT and cyber security
  • Selection and customization of security controls for IT systems
  • IT infrastructure, such as networks, authentication solutions, Windows and/or Linux environments, cloud services.

Merits can be:

  • Experience in educating, informing and creating understanding of IT security in your own organization
  • Formal further education in IT security
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP
  • Experience with ISO27001
  • Experience of working with OT security, knowledge of IEC 62443.

We would like to see that you have worked with IT security in a larger organization and that you are motivated by analyzing and improving. You are self-driven, get things done and are driven by results and clear benefits for the business. Your approach is characterized by being attentive, proactive and wanting to understand causes and connections.

You have good communication and collaboration skills, you speak and write both Swedish and English. Travel in the service occurs, B-driving license is a requirement.
