About the role

Would you like to join us in strengthening our sales organization, with customer and business responsibility for Vattenfall's energy intensive business customers?

Vattenfall Business Sales Nordic is looking for a Key Account Manager with sales, customer and business responsibility for Vattenfall's large electricity intensive business customers in the area of electricity trading with closely related services. The Energy Intensive Clients segment includes the largest users of electricity and is found in traditional basic industry, data centers and emerging new electricity-intensive industry. For the energy-intensive clients, electricity represents a large part of the cost base and is therefore of strategic importance in both the short and long term.

As Key Account Manager you will have overall customer and business responsibility for the business conducted with the customers you are responsible for and which you develop in your customer portfolio. For larger and more complex clients, you will form a client team that you will lead, motivate and support to achieve good business. The role gives you great opportunities to use your knowledge, experience and creativity to find business solutions with the greatest customer benefit and profitability for both the customer and Vattenfall.

Requirement specification

  • Very good understanding of the electricity market and experience of having worked in connection with the energy market for at least 5 years.
  • Experience in B2B sales, trading, ancillary services or origination.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have an academic degree in a field relevant to the position, but the right work experience and personality are crucial in this position. Knowledge of Finnish is also an advantage.

Location

You will be based in one of our offices in Solna, Trollhättan or Gothenburg. Travel within the Nordic region is part of the job.
