About the role

Now we are looking for a Lock Technician to the group Access and Surveillance Support at Ringhals. The access and surveillance support group is responsible for the physical protection at Ringhals and has the task of supporting the two groups Operative surveillance and Access, which are responsible for mapping/investigation work and the development of working methods and activities.

As a Lock technician, you will work together with a close-knit team. The group consists of, among other things, competencies in access and surveillance as well as support functions. The group works actively with the physical protection at Ringhals and acts as a bridge between operations and surveillance in order to offer the best possible solutions for projects and maintenance work.

Your tasks:

  • Supports the development of Ringhals locking activities in the future
  • Acts as a contact person and expert in locking activities for the Ringhals organization
  • Acts as an operations representative in projects, mainly regarding locking systems
  • International monitoring of physical protection and locking systems
  • Creates work orders and work permits in SAP
  • Conducts follow-up of the preventive and remedial maintenance of Ringhals locking systems
  • Conducts practical work as a lock technician
  • Mechanical maintenance of all locking systems - mainly ASSA
  • Works with troubleshooting, remedial and preventive maintenance of locks, fittings and door closers
  • Administrative work in the form of reporting/documentation in our maintenance systems
  • Making keys and cylinders

A large part of the work is linked to requirements from, among other things, regulations. Business intelligence and collaboration with external parties in the field are other important tasks in the role.

Information in the field of physical protection is constantly updated and you have an interest in keeping up to date in both technical solutions and business intelligence.

The fact that you strive to develop the forms of collaboration both within and outside the organization means that you will succeed well in the role of lock technician.

We are primarily looking for you who have:

  • High school or post-secondary education in, for example, industrial / workshop technology, mechanics or maintenance. You may also have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience
  • Experience in lock operations and/or maintenance technology
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English
  • Experience in nuclear operations or knowledge of nuclear facilities is meritorious
  • Experience of working with technical documentation and computers
