Now we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer for Lift Maintenance at Ringhals.


About the job

You will belong to a group at Ringhals that is responsible for strategic electrical maintenance, preventive maintenance, and development. The group's activities cover all technical areas (power/lighting, cable ageing, L/V systems, lifting equipment, control equipment, electrical machines, switchgear and valve actuators).

The lifting maintenance group is part of this group and is responsible for the strategy, maintenance and service of lifting equipment such as overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting yokes.

Together with experienced maintenance engineers in the field, you will work with projects, interpretation and follow-up of external requirements, follow-up of lifting operations, manage/evaluate internal/external experiences and strategic planning of maintenance. The tasks are mainly administrative but operational elements are also included such as controls in the plant.


Your tasks

  • Monitor external requirements to capture changes and experiences
  • Communicate internally and externally
  • Prepare, implement and follow up new ways of working
  • Evaluate internal and external experiences and events
  • Compilation and reporting of performed and planned maintenance actions
  • Participate in control and inspection of lifting equipment
  • Planning of maintenance work - both preventive and remedial
  • Work management of hired staff
  • Participate in activities in the plant

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who:

  • Have technical education from college or university, or equivalent work experience
  • Have basic knowledge or experience of lifting devices (meritorious)
  • Have experience of working with governing regulations and regulatory controls (meritorious)
  • Speak, read and understand both Swedish and English unhindered.
  • Have knowledge of the Office package

As a person, you are structured in your work, an advantage if you are analytical. You like to run/work in projects, make contact with others easily and actively seek information on your own. As the position involves a lot of contact with other professional groups, we require good collaboration skills. We attach great importance to your personal qualities.
