For the Maintenance Stations department at Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, we are now looking for a new employee for the contract area Nordöstra Götaland. The department consists of 18 employees who are responsible for ensuring that the operational maintenance of Vattenfall Eldistribution's electricity network is carried out throughout Sweden.

About the role

In your role as Maintenance Engineer Stations, you will mainly be responsible for the technical maintenance of station facilities for regional networks (20-400kV). This involves contacts with our contractors and follow-up of planned and executed work. It also includes budgeting and follow-up of costs linked to the area. The role also includes assisting with answers to stakeholders about our facilities in consultation with other departments at Vattenfall.

Some of your main tasks:

  • plan, prioritize and follow up the technical maintenance in the field and through our maintenance systems and have a dialogue with our area contractor
  • follow up and ensure that ordered work is carried out according to agreement, quality and economy
  • establish and maintain a good collaboration with landowners, authorities, municipalities, etc. as an important counterpart in various issues.
  • act as a support function within Electricity Distribution with your knowledge in Station Facilities
  • responsible for budget and forecast


Requirements specification

We are looking for you who have:

  • university, college or high school education, specializing in electrical power or other education that the employer considers equivalent
  • more than 5 years of work experience in similar tasks
  • experience in maintenance of electrical power facilities and / or experienced technician in maintenance / construction linked to station facilities in regional networks
  • experience in working with landowners, authorities, municipalities and other stakeholders
  • speak and write Swedish fluently
  • good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English
  • driving license class B as travel may occur in the service

It is meritorious if you have:

  • experience in business law
  • experience in procurement
  • experience in budget and forecasting
