About the role

Now we are looking for two maintenance engineers in Alarm and telecommunications for Instrument Maintenance (NMK) at Forsmark Power Group.
About the job
The instrument maintenance unit (NMK) is responsible for maintaining the process systems where the equipment can be both analog and digital. The work is divided into five groups where Alarm and telecommunications (NMK4) works with all reactors, physical protection and the mill outside the area. As a maintenance engineer in Alarm and Telecommunications, you work, among other things, with preventive and remedial maintenance work of, for example, cameras with software and hardware, fire alarm centers, telephone systems and networks and servers.
You start the working day with the group's joint morning meeting, where we go through received and planned work orders. After the meeting, the work is prepared together with your colleagues before the maintenance in the facility is carried out. You will be part of a close-knit team with a good atmosphere where the job is usually done in pairs. If you like to develop, you can get more responsibility over time and eventually be assigned area / system responsibility.

You show a high level of commitment, enjoy learning new things and can absorb new knowledge and use your skills effectively. Furthermore, we expect you to be responsible and to work with a high level of safety and quality awareness. The role includes some administrative work in the long term, so you should be used to and interested in documenting your work in a structured way.
We would like you to have
Experience in the process industry, previous maintenance work and troubleshooting is seen as an advantage. If you are an electrician with computer skills, this can also be an advantage.
