About the role

As a Maintenance Manager, you belong to the Maintenance group, whose mission is the maintenance of Gotland's electricity network. We have different maintenance managers and technicians in the group with different assignments - Station, Line, Lighting / Metering and Operation. The group consists of about 25 employees, and within the station you lead the maintenance work for six station technicians.

You will be responsible for planning and carrying out maintenance measures such as reinvestments, remedial and emergency maintenance related to the station. You carry out planning of station techniques and execution with a focus on efficient resource utilization, cost-effective and quality-driving measures. You are also responsible for planning and follow-up on contingency and minor refurbishment of internal and external facilities and when necessary in cooperation with other groups' resources. You have the role of BAS-U and are expected to ensure a good working environment together with the group manager. You are also responsible for finances and follow-up of your own activities with a focus on agreed KPIs and goals.

Your duties include:

  • Responsible for ensuring that maintenance assignments are carried out according to the allocated budget.
  • Plan and risk assess the daily work.
  • Supervise technicians within the station and, if necessary, external resources.
  • Report/call off assignments in accordance with the specification in the case management system (including finance).
  • Responsible for ensuring that instructions and working methods for the relevant work area are developed, implemented and informed.
  • Prepare and inform at meetings with other supervisors and departments.
  • Ensure cooperation areas with others internally.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is driven by delivering results and has the ability to plan and work strategically. We believe you can coach and lead others to perform, rather than allocate and delegate tasks. You have good interpersonal skills and can connect with different groups of people. We also see that you have the ability to set up a good structure in contexts where the way forward is not always completely obvious.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Experience of working in a leading role, for example as a supervisor, team leader or project manager.
  • Education in electrical power or equivalent work experience.
  • Good computer and system skills.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, in speech and in writing.
  • Driving license B, manual

It is meritorious if you also have experience/knowledge of:

  • Switchgear at medium and high voltage level.
  • Relay protection and control systems.
