Vattenfall Consumer Sales Nordic is responsible for marketing and sales of electricity contracts for households and small businesses in the Nordic region. We are part of BA Customers & Solutions which also includes District Heating, E-Mobility and decentralized energy solutions like solar panels. Our organization has an agile way of working and consists of several cross-functional business teams and a number of specialized teams that work closely with these.


About the role

Do you want to work with marketing automation, flows and processes related to our customer journeys?

We are now looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist for a temporary position that extends during the year 2025!

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you belong to the team that is responsible for the relationship with our existing electricity customers in Sweden. The team works to maximize the value that the existing customer base generates by constantly improving the customer experience, building loyalty, driving anti-churn and additional sales, but also digitization and increased share of self-service.

Your main contact interfaces are team members with complementary competencies with whom you have daily meetings as well as sprint planning and follow-up of goals and outcomes. You will also work closely with content specialists and analysts to deliver various activities and with the PO on priorities and assignments. The role also requires external contacts with technical support and suppliers.

You have a key role in the team's work to deliver business-critical and customer care communication to the customer base and thereby achieve our goals in, for example, churn, additional sales and customer experience (CX). You are operationally responsible for managing customer journeys and campaigns in our Marketing Automation system and your tasks include, among other things, building new flows, segmenting, entering rules based on our data points, testing and follow-up, as well as quality control and troubleshooting when needed.

Duties and results you are responsible for:

  • Daily maintenance and development of marketing automation (MA) - secure operational existing processes and develop new ones.
  • Sample checking and debugging automated processes in the MA tool.
  • Simple coding in the MA tool.
  • Contact with technical support, internal and external, suppliers and our internal customer service.
  • Some on-call during the summer to handle manual steps in our legal mailings.

In the specific technology area where the MA system is included, a lot is happening and the development of the market is moving forward. Thus, there are ambitions to also take steps forward within our organization regarding our capabilities and systems during the next year. The role will be part of this change work and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in the area together with the team.


Requirement specification

  • Experience working with customer journeys, processes and flows in customer care.
  • Good understanding of data models, data management and audience selection based on different data points.
  • Experience in marketing automation.
  • Like working in related IT systems and programs, preferably SAP and Symplify.
  • Very good knowledge of English and Swedish, in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Knowledge of the energy industry and the electricity business.
  • Experience or interest in communication, layout and content work.

As a person, you are careful and reliable, you perform your work in a correct way and deliver on time with good quality. You also have good teamwork skills and are able to deliver on joint initiatives through clear communication and dialog with relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, you are energetic and take on problems and challenges with a sense of energy and enthusiasm.
