About the role

The components group within the maintenance technology unit at Forsmark Power Group is responsible for the procurement and management of spare parts, analyzing and managing the need for new and replacement of obsolete equipment. As a material planner, specializing in instrumentation and control equipment, you work with the procurement of spare parts, to plan, administer, calculate and control the spare parts range to ensure that the spare parts that the business needs are available. You may also be part of various special groups together with the other Nordic nuclear power plants, where you exchange experiences in order to raise the overall level of knowledge in the field. Contact with other nuclear power plants and supplier visits outside Sweden are part of the service.

Your tasks

As a technical administrator of spare parts in your area of responsibility, you will handle and assess spare parts based on the specific requirements. You will act as a technical expert and collaborate between the purchasing department, manufacturers and quality control to ensure that all technical aspects are taken into account. When delivering materials, you will also be responsible for verifying that the delivery is in accordance with the original order.

We would like you to have:

  • technical education at least at upper secondary level. Post-secondary education in a relevant field is an advantage, for example if you have a solid technical background, especially in instrumentation and control equipment
  • good knowledge in both speech and writing in Swedish and English

If you have experience from working in the process industry or as a material planner, it is an advantage. We also see previous knowledge in EL, I& C or MEK or experience of working in SAP as positive.
