The Asset Surveillance department has a national responsibility for Vattenfall Electricity Distribution's detection capability in the security area of physical protection. This includes the operation and management of all security technology as well as full operational and staffing responsibility for our monitoring centers.

As a Guarding Center Operator, you will be part of a shift team working around the clock to monitor and analyze the real-time security situation of our critical assets. Your duties will include camera surveillance, alarm handling and incidents affecting our systems and assets. As an operator, you are an important communication link between different authorities and other functions. The work as a monitoring center operator is varied and suits those who are curious to understand how different systems work and want to constantly develop.

Requirements

We are looking for you who:

• Have work experience in the field, preferably as an alarm operator or security guard
• Be focused and observant as camera surveillance and alarm management are your main tools
• Work under pressure and have the ability to make quick decisions in critical situations
• Vote for security and justice and take your responsibility in the work of protecting our critical assets
• Have good communication and collaboration skills
• Have the ability to work with different security systems
• Master Swedish and English, both spoken and written
