About the role

Your tasks

As an Operations Technician, you belong to the Fagersta/Norberg operations group, which is part of the Production Department. The group is responsible for operation & maintenance and projects within district heating. In the role of Operations Technician, you work primarily with the operation and maintenance of our production facilities and thus contribute to our customers receiving delivery of environmentally friendly district heating. You have a major impact on the planning of operations, maintenance and projects. You will be an important support in the daily and long-term operation and maintenance work to secure facilities with high availability.

We work with continuous improvements and in this work you have an important role in driving and implementing both large and small changes. We put great focus on safety in everything we do at our facilities and it is our highest priority in our daily work.

Your area of responsibility

  • Operation and maintenance at our production and distribution facilities.
  • Load machine driving is included in the service.
  • Development and improvement of work routines and processes, there is the possibility of having specific responsibilities within the production department.
  • The service also includes standby duty, lonely work and shift work occurs depending on the season.


Requirements specification

In this role you will learn a lot on site, but to succeed it is good if you have:

  • Training as an operating technician or equivalent work experience.
  • Good computer skills, basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • Advantageous with knowledge in process, electricity, control and control technology, maintenance or mechanics.
  • Driving license B.

We are looking for a team player who finds it easy to collaborate with others. You have great drive and commitment. As a person, we like to see that you find it easy to structure and plan your work. In this role, circumstances can change and it is important that you are flexible and can adapt to the situation. Personal qualities such as reliability, honesty and humility are highly valued for this role. The work places great demands on communication skills in Swedish in both speech and writing.
