About the role

Do you work in operations or maintenance and are you interested in trying something new? Vattenfall Värme in Jordbro is in the middle of an exciting phase with several ongoing and upcoming plant projects. Now we are looking for you who want to be part of this development journey. With us, you will be part of our competent team where you are faced with technical challenges on a daily basis and have the opportunity to develop in your role.

About the position

Together with experienced colleagues, you ensure that our production facilities are operated and monitored in a safe, efficient and environmental way. In addition to operation and monitoring, this includes performing self-monitoring and ongoing supervision according to established plans. As a shift operating technician, it means both day, night and weekend work.


As an Operations Technician, your main duties will be:

  • Operation and monitoring, including condition checks
  • Plant shutdown/restoration (Safe Stops)
  • Process optimization and plant efficiency
  • Operator maintenance, self-inspection and continuous supervision
  • Operator driving and fuel handling


Requirements

Who are you?

You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Qualifications

  • Previous operating experience from the process industry or experience from thermal engineering work
  • Relevant education in the field, such as KY/YH education, upper secondary education or university engineer with experience from the heat and power generation industry.
  • You master the Office package and have a good habit of reading instructions
  • Driving license B
