About the role

Vattenfall Services business area Nuclear Power Service and Process Industry is looking for an Operational Supervisor for the department called Industry. We work with mechanics, welding and maintenance for the process and manufacturing industry in Sweden.

Are you a Supervisor who wants to work operationally and want to help us in our customer assignments? We are looking for you who are a driven welder and/or fitter and have a business mindset and who like customer contacts!

As an employee of Vattenfall Services, you will work with a number of exciting tasks together with your colleagues at our establishment in Limabacka as well as out on our customer projects around Sweden.

Your role as Supervisor

The Industry department provides services in maintenance and construction to the process and manufacturing industry in Sweden. It involves projects of various sizes in welding, pipe and steel structures. The role includes:

• As a supervisor, report to the project manager and department manager
• Work management and responsibility for progress in customer assignments in welding, mechanics and maintenance
• Assemble and/or weld
• Depending on your skills, you can become the assembly leader for the assignment
• Work to compile welding documentation
• Make sure that the schedule and quality are achieved
• Have contact with customers and subcontractors

As our customers are located all over Sweden, travel becomes a natural part of the service with several hotel nights, you therefore need to look positively on travel!

Requirements

We are looking for you who have an upper secondary or higher level of education in machine / workshop / industry, or equivalent work experience. You have competence in welding and we would like you to have work experience similar to this position. Experience of planning, work management or assembly work in welding and mechanics is an advantage. Experience from food/pharmaceutical jobs (FDA) is meritorious.

• You need to be able to read and interpret drawings (ISO) and flow charts (P& ID).
• The work as a supervisor requires that you can express yourself well in speech and writing. Therefore, good language skills in Swedish are a prerequisite for success in the role.
• B-driving license

You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships and thrive in the role as the face of the company. You constantly see new business opportunities and have a natural drive and are a good problem solver. Furthermore, structure and planning is something that personalizes you but you are flexible towards changes in planning and tasks.
