Job Description

Do you want to be involved in the development of efficient and safe operating solutions within one of Sweden's most prominent energy plants?

Now we are looking for an Operations Engineer for the Infra staff group at Forsmarks Kraftgrupp.

The Infra unit is mainly responsible for the management of system-bound low and intermediate level waste (liquid waste) and non-system-bound low and intermediate level waste (solid waste), nuclear waste, system-bound conventional waste (sanitary wastewater), decontamination and operations in the outer area.

Within the unit there is operational management responsibility, the outer area. The operations management is responsible for the operational and safety supervision of the plant and the activities within its own operations management area.

The unit is organizationally divided into four groups: Solid Waste, Water Management, External Facilities and Infra Staff. The Infra Stab group is a new group that is in an exciting build-up phase with many projects and investigations within the organization. We work with strategic goals towards the outer area of Forsmark, support in the event of errors/investigations that arise and ensure and drive that the facilities meet current requirements and comply with new requirements from authorities.

Your duties

In your role as Operations Engineer within Operations, you will develop and communicate company-wide working methods that meet internal and external requirements, and if necessary, prepare company-wide instructions.

The responsibility includes following up and taking initiatives for the development of routines, coordinating and managing external operations within Forsmark.

• managing management issues and agreements for surface operation at Forsmark
• documentation electricity - gas turbine and water
• system analyses
• safety review
• operational reports and incident analyses
• fire protection manager, plant knowledge follow Forsmark's fire protection rules
• participate in inspections

Qualifications

We prefer that you have

• a university/civil engineering degree or have equivalent knowledge through work experience.
• previous experience in management issues towards industry
• experience in electric power and/or heating
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing and basic knowledge of English

We see it as meritorious if you have experience

• in ventilation
• from Citex or SAP systems
