Vattenfall Customer Service Nordic is responsible for sales, billing and customer service to Vattenfall customers in the Nordic region. We are headquartered in Umeå, but are also located in Solna and Helsinki and together we are about 300 employees who support Vattenfall's various businesses via the customer interface. About the role

We are looking for People and Business Managers who want to lead and develop our colleagues at Vattenfall Customer Service. You will lead a team, set goals, and be operational yourself in dialog with clients. Your goal is to ensure that the team together exceeds the set target figures. By being courageous and building an engaging sales culture among colleagues, you create the conditions for us to develop and be a competitive alternative and contribute to Vattenfall's continued success.

In your role, relationships and collaboration are central and it will come naturally for you to interact both internally and externally. As a leader, you have a crucial role in our work to constantly be at the forefront, which is why it is of the utmost importance that you understand and can perfectly balance between having a healthy staff and concrete results and that you dare to test new ways to succeed.

As a People and Business Manager within Vattenfall Customer Service, you are ultimately responsible for leading and developing the employees within your organization. At the same time, you are responsible for maintaining and developing the relationship with our clients while driving our operational business with a strong business perspective. Our expectation is that you are used to working with business objectives and driving them forward together with your team. Through our target numbers, you have the understanding needed to individualize the targets and engage your people. You can clearly describe and set requirements towards our support units to further develop and drive our business forward.

In this role, you are expected to act according to our shared values and actively promote diversity and inclusion. You develop employees to their full potential through trust and responsibility and can therefore also work with goal management and delegation. Your work naturally includes responsibility for the working environment, which means that you act promptly within the framework of these issues and you handle and report deviations and incidents that occur.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Personnel responsibility and responsibility for results, i.e. following up on goals according to the employees' individual abilities and driving the business forward.
  • Representing and dialoguing with clients
  • Lead and engage employees by visualizing and communicating a clear vision and putting it into action
  • Responsible for team budget, quality and follow-up
  • Carry out the work as efficiently as possible, and strive for continuous improvement and revenue
  • Responsible for a safe and secure work environment
  • Analysis of risks & focus on safety aspects. Conduct risk analysis in case of changes
  • Ensure that your part of the organization complies with Vattenfall's policies and guidelines

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who are at the beginning of your leadership journey, preferably from larger organizations. You have documented good leadership results where your tactical and operational work is evident. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with customer/supplier responsibility. You have completed studies at upper secondary level or equivalent acquired skills.

As a person, you have a strong drive and constantly strive to exceed your goals. Furthermore, you are responsible and always aim to foster a good working relationship to create the conditions for colleagues to deliver exemplary customer meetings. Finally, you are driven by being in a high-energy, sales-oriented environment where continuous development is on the agenda!
