About the role
Do you want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply and at the same time learn more and develop within the energy industry?
We are looking for an employee who enjoys analyzing and driving development for the Plant Strategy group at Forsmark Power Group.
As a Plant Development Engineer with us, you will be part of a group of ten employees, where each member has a specific role and responsibility. Our Plant Engineering unit takes a long-term approach to ensuring that the status and performance of our facilities meet safety, availability and cost requirements.
In doing so, we focus on asset management, facility optimization, and system health and performance, among other things. We map and analyze the status of facilities at a comprehensive level to provide a basis for strategic decisions within the business. The asset optimization process is central to our work, in the process, the needs of the facilities are prepared and worked through to measures to then be prioritized. We are responsible for and assist in the application of the methods in the process.
We are also responsible for developing and implementing Asset Management (Asset Management according to the ISO 55000 standard) at Forsmark. Here we contribute to strengthening the organization's capabilities in strategy work, risk and action evaluation, portfolio prioritization and streamlining of our processes.

You will also collaborate with colleagues at Ringhals and within the Vattenfall Group, giving you insight and networking across several parts of the business.
