About the role
Business Sales Nordic has full responsibility for sales of products and services to the Nordic electricity customers within B2B. The main responsibility is to grow through a long-term profitable sales business where we meet customer needs by developing relevant offers and managing solutions and service models. Business Sales Nordic has corporate customers in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, where Sweden and Finland are the main markets.
Are you our new Portfolio Manager?
As a Portfolio Manager at Vattenfall, you are responsible for a large number of corporate customers where you have overall responsibility for their electricity portfolios. You will analyze customer needs and develop trading strategies to suit each individual customer. You build close client relationships and act as an advisor/portfolio manager. In your daily work, you follow and analyze the electricity and other commodity markets to provide the best possible advice to clients. You enjoy taking significant positions in the Nordic power market on behalf of clients. The main focus of the role will be dynamic hedging of medium and long-term power curves. You have an expert role and work in close cooperation with our sales people to build long-term customer relationships as well as participate as an expert in new customer sales.
Requirements
We are looking for a business-minded, customer-oriented team player with high social skills. You enjoy working in a high-performance environment, are results-oriented and analytical. You are driven by building long-term customer relationships. You have a good understanding of the electricity market and have worked related to the electricity market before. Experience, knowledge and a good understanding of risk management and financial derivatives trading is a plus. We would like you to have an academic degree, but the right personality is crucial. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing. Good computer skills, Power BI, VBA programming are meritorious.
