Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit of approximately 430 people within Business Area (BA) Vattenfall Generation that supplies nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develops and implements projects and assignments and provides technical specialist services.

Vattenfall is now making major investments in evaluating opportunities for new nuclear power as well as increased production in hydropower. Furthermore, great focus is placed every day on stable and safe operation in our existing production fleet. This involves activities such as project management and project support, technical support mainly in nuclear engineering activities, analysis management and investigation, and dam safety assignments.

The focus of the Vattenfall Power Solutions business unit is to develop our capabilities in project management and selected key technical disciplines. We work actively with improvement initiatives and development of our models, where our work and competence creates great value for Vattenfall and its investments. We work closely and in some cases fully integrated with other Business Units within the Vattenfall Group. We also create external international business where we see that it benefits our strategic direction. About the role

The Business Development department leads and develops the Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions (VPS) business development and marketing efforts and is responsible for establishing insights and relationships with our key stakeholders. We work in an integrated way with these and have ongoing dialog about their respective challenges going forward and drive issues internally within VPS so that the challenges can be met in an efficient way with high quality. We seek synergies with other parts of Vattenfall and the industry to bridge learning through collaboration.

We are now looking for two new employees who will have the title Portfolio Partner, a role that mainly acts in the borderland between BU VPS and one or more other parts of the Vattenfall Group. Mainly we cooperate with Ringhals, Forsmark, SKB and Vattenfall's hydropower business. International business contacts may also be relevant.

Responsibilities and tasks

As a Portfolio Partner, you are a key player in driving collaboration between our unit and our strategically important partners. You are responsible for all overall dialogue and optimize collaborations from a holistic perspective to ensure conditions for cost-effective deliveries and efficient use of resources and skills. It is important to keep abreast of relevant developments that affect how we should act. Through close dialog and collaboration with partners at different levels, you interpret future needs. You will be able to clearly and proactively communicate these internally so that others can take over and carry out projects and assignments.

Central to your role is to actively participate in important decision-making forums and make recommendations to decision-makers, as well as contributing to the strategic development of the business. Together with your colleagues, you will continuously drive improvements and synergies in ways of working and project delivery.

Requirement specification

We see that you have:

• Academic education, such as civil engineer or economist or acquired equivalent knowledge through similar education or experience.
• Several years of experience in some form of management position
• Good experience of industry and project management / project management
• Good knowledge of, and experience of, the nuclear industry is meritorious
• Good knowledge of business administration and financial management
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of English in speech and writing
• Experience with EPC/EPC-M contracts is meritorious
