For the group responsible for power quality, we are now looking for you who have a good understanding of how an electricity grid works and who enjoy working with complex issues and analyzes.


About the role

The role of Power Quality Engineer

We are currently 17 people, located in Stockholm, Trollhättan and Luleå, who have the important task of helping to develop and drive issues regarding power quality in local and regional networks. The issues can be about; the network owner and the network customers interact in the electricity network, analyze the quality of electricity, have a dialogue with our customers, use our systems and measurement results to investigate, calculate and analyze possible causes of disturbances. Depending on your needs and background, one of the following may be your tasks:

  • carry out analyses of the power quality in our plants and, if necessary, propose measures
  • investigate, calculate and analyze possible causes of disturbances
  • assist with power quality expertise within the company, for example in development and innovation projects
  • have customer contact and cooperation with contractors, suppliers and internal partners
  • actively participate in strategic work on power quality
  • manage and develop measurement systems for power quality measurement


Requirements specification

We are looking for you who:

  • have a university degree with a focus on electrical power/energy or equivalent work experience
  • have a good command of Swedish in speech and writing and have a good knowledge of English

It is meritorious if you:

  • have experience from the electric power industry
  • have experience in network calculations, dimensioning and electricity network planning
  • have experience of working with power quality and measurement technology
  • have knowledge of programming and data analysis
  • have experience of customer dialogues
