We are looking for a Power System Investigator with expertise in electric power to the Power System group - within the Operations and Maintenance Support unit.

The group's responsibility is to work preventively through, for example, operational analyzes, complex calculations and planning for extraordinary operating situations such as consumption disconnection and operational reconstruction. The responsibility also includes managing our functional power system model including handling information exchange with other electricity network owners.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Performing operational analysis that can lead to measures for e.g. increased availability of the electricity network, increased utilization of the existing network or loss reduction.
  • Examine how various events in the network have affected or may affect operation and reliability and what measures need to be taken for preventive purposes (e.g. disturbance analysis and design of new operating guidelines).
  • Involved in both innovation projects and business development projects where new methods or techniques for grid operation are evaluated and developed often in collaboration with or through industry forums.
  • Possibility to develop into a specialist/expert in one/multiple areas
  • Support more junior colleagues.

The role will be developed based on the skills you possess and can contribute, through good collaboration within the unit and department.
