We at Vattenfall Eldistribution AB are looking for you who have a passion for electric power and want to work at the forefront of the technical development of our smart plants. As a Power System Specialist with us, we promise that you will be challenged in exciting and complex issues.

The Project Engineering department is responsible for ensuring technical content in the planning and implementation of plant investments and delivers specialist plant engineering expertise to the business. We translate plant strategies, operational experience and development projects into actual standardized solutions to be implemented in the business. Unleash your superpowers with us!

As a Technical Specialist, your main responsibility is to provide specialist expertise to the investment business, which means acting as a technical resource in our projects. Your main tasks are as follows:

• Ensure the quality of the new plants and that the plant design is optimal.
• Contribute to the definition of requirements for plant design, both overall and project-specific.
• Participation and consultation in project descriptions, feasibility studies, etc.
• Quality assurance of the technical parts of the tender documents.
• Participate in tender evaluation regarding the technical functions of the plant.
• Reviewing technical design and checking design during factory tests.
• Ensure that the plant meets the requirements of the technical specification and Vattenfall's Technical Guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments in projects.

Some travel is included in the position, mainly to the projects you are currently working on.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who have

• An engineering degree in electrical power engineering at college or university level or equivalent competence.
• Several years of experience from electricity network projects and are well acquainted with the structure and function of the electricity network.
• Knowledge and experience of cabling issues such as laying methods and trench design.
• Experience in working with technical guidelines and standards for regional network cables.
• Experience in testing of cable, cable construction and cable accessories.
• Experience and knowledge of regional network cable calculations.
• Knowledge of Heavy Current Regulations/ESA/Norms/Technical Guidelines.
• You have easy to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
• B driving license.

You are responsible, which means that you drive your work forward on your own and with good quality. You find it easy to communicate and cooperate with others as you are largely included as a resource in larger project groups.

We consider it a merit if you have

• Knowledge of construction law (AB04 and ABT06)
