In the role of Preparer, you work together with project managers and technicians to develop technical solutions that make each project feasible from both a qualitative and economic perspective. The work means that you prepare and to some extent design activities in electricity distribution networks. You will have a varied work where you some days sit in the office and other days you make visits out in the field. You will build close relationships with the parties involved and work actively with them to ensure that the quality of the service delivered meets the agreed targets. The role is strongly interlinked with other functions and it is therefore important that you are comfortable with social contacts. The team consists of over 20 people in various roles such as preparers, project managers and technicians. You will be welcomed into a safe and friendly group where the climate is described as open and helpful.

Your tasks will mainly be about:

  • Management of technical solutions in the projects
  • Net calculations and financial calculations
  • Permission and contract issues
  • Contacts with clients, authorities and landowners
  • Material orders
  • Documentation

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who:

  • Have an electrical engineering degree
  • Have experience in roles such as a grid designer, network designer, connection engineer, electrical power engineer, distribution engineer, network optimizer, lighting engineer, measurement technician or station technician
  • Has a genuine interest in the electricity industry
  • Has good computer skills
  • Is very comfortable with both Swedish and English in both speech and writing
  • Has a B driving license

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have:

  • Experience with EBR
  • Experience with network maps, such as NetBas
  • Experience with contract management

As a person, you have good self-leadership, are solution-oriented and unpretentious. You have a logical approach and approach problems from an analytical perspective. You are comfortable driving your own work forward and you are structured in your approach. As you will be working in a team, it is important that you have good interpersonal skills. Furthermore, you are curious to constantly learn new things to expand your skills.
