The team, consisting of 7 employees and one manager, is a flexible, experienced and fun bunch that supports each other in the daily work. We like to share our knowledge and discuss solutions, which is essential in this complex industry.
The heart of our business is our settlement system. Through our system, we build and follow the entire power business; from metering, sales on the intraday, spot and regulation power markets, internal allocation and invoicing of contracts, to follow-up of the entire business.
Our department is a hub in the physical power business at Vattenfall and the work includes a lot of contacts with other units at Vattenfall.
Right now, there are major changes in the energy market, which means that we must constantly adapt our operations and adjust our processes. In addition, we have recently replaced our settlement system, which has given us new opportunities to further improve, simplify and quality assure our processes.
The role of Process Developer at Reconciliation
We are looking for a new process developer to join our team with the task of constantly improving and renewing our processes and deliveries, in line with our customers' expanding needs and the constant changes that are taking place in the market. In order to learn how the electricity market and the power business work, and to understand how our current processes are set up, the role will also involve some operational work. The goal is always set to, in parallel with the operational work, be able to develop and implement efficiency improvements and process improvements for, for example, controls, follow-up, financial calculations and all types of reports. A good understanding of data management, sharp numerical sense, good analytical ability and methodical thinking are a prerequisite.
In this role, you will be able to build up good knowledge of the power business, acquire a wide network of contacts and have great opportunities to influence your work based on your own ideas. There are also good opportunities to further develop in this role by combining it with operational work in Vattenfall's control room, where intraday trading, bidding and forecasting for Vattenfall's power portfolio in the Nordic region takes place, which further builds on your knowledge and understanding of the energy market.
