The mission of our team, is to create value to our customers, partly by offering decentralized solutions consisting of solar and energy storage solutions - i.e. clean, distributed and renewable energy - and partly services linked to these products. Another key area for our team is to connect and optimize the energy system where connected decentralized energy resources (DER) create value in the form of flexibility needed to stabilize the national grid, manage imbalances in energy trading, congestion of the electricity grid etc. i.e. great benefit to society. As Product Area manager within Customers & Solutions (C&S) Nordics, you will together with our team develop the DES business in Sweden and Finland. Special focus for you will be to be responsible for a product area which includes the entire product life cycle from strategy and planning to execution, including go-to-market and launch, as well as post-analysis, to continuous development and maintenance and possible discontinuation in the future.
About the role
In the role of Product Area manager you work together with the rest of the team and are the expert regarding your product area, thus for the currently existing products and those under development. The role aims to achieve the revenue and customer satisfaction targets within given budget and timeframes. Balancing business objectives, customer needs and technical considerations on the one hand and on the other ensuring that long term goals are met. The responsibility includes defining the product strategy and vision including go-to-market strategy within the product area which should be in line with DES other product portfolio and Business Unit Customer Nordic strategy and goals.
Collaboration with external partners as well as other parts of DES and Vattenfall is an important part of the daily work which includes people, processes and technology.
