Vattenfall Vattenkraft is now looking for a production and maintenance technician for Dals Långed!
You will be part of a team where we are five colleagues responsible for the operation and maintenance of Vattenfall's nine hydropower plants and three regulation dams in Dalsland. Our main responsibility is to ensure accessible and safe facilities.
The work as a production and maintenance technician is varied and responsible, here are examples of tasks and responsibilities:
We work both outdoors and indoors, car travel between plants is part of everyday life. You will be expected to take an active role in our work with risk assessments and creating safe workplaces where we are open and helpful.
Our team is also on call in the area of responsibility. Once you have been trained and meet the requirements, you will be on call on average every six weeks on a rolling schedule.
We are part of the Upperudsälven/Viskan Production Group, which consists of two teams. In the second team, which is based in Kinna, four colleagues work who are responsible for our facilities in the Viskan area. Within the group, we collaborate on common issues that can be about working methods, safety, routines and system support. If necessary, for example during audits and shutdowns, we can travel between to work together.
Requirements specification
We are looking for a versatile, committed, reliable and responsible colleague who wants to develop in a climate-smart role as a production and maintenance technician in hydropower. We offer you a free and responsible job in very nice surroundings.
You have an upper secondary education in electricity or mechanics and experience of working with operation, maintenance and technical troubleshooting. It is meritorious if you have experience in automation technology, PLC and power generation.
You enjoy finding solutions to problems and sharing ideas with your colleagues. Your approach is structured and you put a strong emphasis on safety. You enjoy working in a team, but are also prepared to work alone.
The work requires IT experience and that you are comfortable using both a computer and a smartphone, if you also have experience with planning tools and SCADA, it can be a plus. B-driving license is a requirement, BE-driving license meritorious.
