Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are about 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Hydropower's renewable electricity production is a prerequisite for creating a climate-smart and fossil-free society where we play an important role as an enabler for the sustainable energy system of the future.Our production corresponds to about 25% of Sweden's total electricity needs. To deliver high availability in our production, we need to constantly challenge ourselves, develop our working methods and take advantage of digital opportunities.
About the role
We are now looking for a production technician in Boden!
In this position, you will be involved in all production / operational technical work that we perform. We are responsible for the Laxede, Vittjärv and Boden hydropower plants in the Lule River.
You will, for example, work with analysis, problem solving, troubleshooting, rounds, maintenance and improvement projects. In the future, you may also have a role as a coordinator in connection with shutdowns and certain projects. The position is full-time and after induction you will be part of our on-call team on a rolling schedule.
Requirements specification
You have an electrical engineering upper secondary education, such as the electricity and energy program or hydropower technology. You have experience in operation and maintenance work, if you have worked in industry and / or with hydropower plants, it can be an advantage.
We are looking for a versatile, helpful and responsible colleague. You enjoy finding solutions to problems and sharing ideas with colleagues. Your approach is structured and you place a high value on safety. You appreciate collaboration, but are also prepared to work alone.
Good IT skills and a good knowledge of Swedish (preferably also English) are required. You have a driving license (B), travel is part of the work as a production technician.
