Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are about 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. About the role

As a production technician in Bergeforsen, you will be involved in all daily operation and maintenance work at the Bergeforsen and Gimån hydropower stations. We can also count on work at other hydropower stations that Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for.

You will work with troubleshooting, preventive and condition-based maintenance, manage dam measurements and some improvement projects. In the long term, you will be part of the emergency response team.

You need to be driven in your assignments and actively contribute to our continued business development. In the long term, you will be part of the emergency response team.

Requirements specification

You have relevant technical education at upper secondary level with advantageous electricity and energy program focusing on hydropower.

Education at a vocational college for hydropower technician / production technician is meritorious.

We are looking for you with a few years of work experience from electric power production, process industry or other industrial activities. If you have previously been responsible for smaller projects and some planning, it may be an advantage. Knowledge of the technology (both older and more modern) that is in and controls a hydropower station is also desirable.

We are looking for a positive and driven employee who enjoys taking responsibility. You both value and contribute to good cooperation and attach great importance to safety at all times. The work requires good computer skills and that you speak and write Swedish, preferably also English. It is a requirement that you have a B driving license.
