Company description

Vattenfall Vattenkraft is responsible for Vattenfall's 90 hydropower plants and about 300 dams in the Nordic region. We are about 500 employees in Sweden and Finland with headquarters in Luleå. Hydropower's renewable electricity production is a prerequisite for creating a climate-smart and fossil-free society where we play an important role as an enabler for the sustainable energy system of the future. Our production corresponds to about 25% of Sweden's total electricity needs. To deliver high availability in our production, we need to constantly challenge ourselves, develop our working methods and take advantage of digital opportunities. You will be an important part of that work!

About the role

We are looking for you who are versatile and responsible. You enjoy finding solutions to problems and sharing ideas with colleagues. Your approach is structured and you put a strong emphasis on safety. You appreciate collaboration, but are also prepared to work alone.

You have an electrical engineering upper secondary education, such as the electricity and energy program or hydropower technology. We would like to see that you have experience of maintenance and production/operational work at hydropower plants or some similar activity.

Good IT skills and good knowledge of Swedish (preferably also English) are a requirement. You have a driving license (B), travel that involves overnight stays is part of the work as a production technician.
