Here you will work

As a Project Purchaser, you work based on the needs of the various activities in everything from the tender phase to the implementation of customer projects in various contract forms. You will be involved in improving the purchasing process and developing purchasing into a natural partner for the business. You will work closely with other buyers, project managers, lawyers and other commercial functions within Vattenfall.

Main responsibilities

  • Work in the tender process together with tender engineers and project managers
  • Conduct purchasing and procurement of materials, services and contracts
  • Create and nurture supplier relationships
  • Participate in developing processes, working methods and tools that support the purchasing process for both purchasing and the business
  • Interact with technical and project departments within the business as well as other requirements units in Vattenfall

Requirements specification

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Relevant theoretical education in e.e.g. engineering, economics, purchasing or other experience deemed equivalent
  • Broad experience of procurement of materials, services and contracts in the contract forms AB, ABT, AB-U, ABT-U and AMA
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and procurement in tender processes
  • Deficient experience of negotiations in complex organizations
  • Fluent in Swedish & English, orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience in leading the development of procurement processes and tools
  • Leadership experience in roles such as team leader or project manager
  • Experience in the energy industry
