Vattenfall Services is now looking for project managers in electric power and charging technology for several locations in the country! Current locations include Sundsvall, Örnsköldsvik, Umeå, Skellefteå, Stockholm, Jönköping, Kalmar, Växjö or Karlshamn, but other locations where we are established may also be relevant.

Here you will be part of a department called "Charging technology, construction and maintenance" where we focus on the Swedish market for charging infrastructure and work with construction, service, maintenance and troubleshooting of e-mobility charging stations.

In our assignments, we not only maintain, design and build charging stations, we also participate in the development of infrastructure in close collaboration with customers and facility owners. The market for charging infrastructure is segmented and your assignments will include charging stations for both light (AC and DC charging) and heavy electric vehicles (e.g. trucks).

About the work as Project Manager Electric Power and Charging Technology

Your main tasks as Project Manager:

  • Business planning and implementation of projects/assignments through work management and coordination
  • Inform and report on progress and status to project participants, customers and clients
  • Lead construction meetings, dialogues, follow-ups and negotiations with customers and clients
  • Work with technical installation of charging stations
  • Responsibility for the financial result and management of closure and financial follow-up
  • Active contribution to the fact that we together create Sweden's safest workplace.

Here are examples of tasks/responsibilities that may also be included depending on the technical experience you have today:

  • Assembly, commissioning, configuration and testing of electric vehicle charging facilities
  • Construction of electric vehicle charging facilities
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of electric vehicle charging facilities.

You are our representative in contact with the customer and the one who ensures that environmental and occupational health and safety procedures are followed in your projects/assignments. You will work with assignments that come from both existing customer agreements and projects where Vattenfall Services has a turnkey contract. The assignments vary in complexity and duration.

Travel in the service occurs, for example for preparations, construction meetings, safety reviews and commissioning.

Your background

We are looking for you who thrive in a business and leadership role and have:

  • Established in the electrical power/electrical installation industry
  • Electrical technical experience and training
  • Good computer skills (Office package) and administrative skills as you will be working process-driven in various data and case management systems
  • B driving license and good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience from the construction industry and application of construction law
  • Worked with coordination, assembly, commissioning and testing as well as facilities for charging technology.
