About the role

We are looking for an experienced project manager who wants to be involved in running our largest projects. In the role, you are responsible for our project strategy and for leading and developing your organization to achieve the best possible results. About the role

As a project manager, you are responsible for leading and delivering large projects in the order of SEK 50 million up to SEK 1000 million. You work with turnkey contracts that include land, construction, purchasing, construction and commissioning with the responsibility to drive the project to the finish line on time and with high quality. You will be assisted by sub-project managers, site managers, field technicians and internal support functions. Organizationally, you belong to our business area "Stations Projects".

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Planning and execution of the project
  • Leading and managing the project team
  • Responsible for the financial outcome of the projects and managing the closure and follow-up on the finances
  • Informing and reporting on the status of the project to the client
  • Being involved in construction meetings and in negotiations with the client
  • Risk management
  • Reporting and documenting the success of the project

The work involves a strong focus on safety, progress, commitment and quality. In the role of Project Manager, you will mainly work from your office but you will also be out on site. Travel is a natural part of the work. Those who work on larger projects often travel longer distances where overnight stays occur.


Requirements

To be successful in the role, you will have the ability to build strong partnerships and set direction. You solve problems as they arise and are used to managing risks and unexpected situations. As a leader, you create engagement through participation and you have the ability to set structure to achieve both intermediate and overall goals. Finally, you are business-minded with a good entrepreneurial spirit, but would never let profitability come before safety.

We know that you will develop together with us. But we would like to see that you already have:

  • Several years of experience in managing and delivering large projects
  • Experience from the electric power industry
  • Experience from the contracting industry
  • Experience in customer and supplier relations
  • Experience in contract law and contract negotiation
  • B-driving license is a requirement
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We are looking for new employees across large parts of Sweden where the business area "Stations Projects" is divided into four geographies; Northern Norrland, Southern and Central Norrland, East and West. Examples of locations are shown below but other locations are also possible, therefore we would like you to indicate the desired location in your application;
