About the role

In our quest to become fossil-free, digitalization of our energy production and asset management plays a crucial role. You will manage projects in the field of Enterprise Asset Management. You will lead exciting and crucial projects that modernize and digitalize our energy production and assets - often focusing on SAP-based solutions in asset management and logistics.

Your main activities will be related to:

  • SAP related projects in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) area
  • SAP S/4 HANA transformation program
  • Working with IT and business stakeholders to develop and implement best practice solutions with a focus on finding synergies across different areas of the company.
  • Enable and adopt new technologies e.g. linked to IoT data and AI capabilities
  • Increase our maturity in Asset Performance Management (APM)
  • Manage IT projects/programs/proof of concepts from feasibility study through development to production according to project methodology standards
  • Participate in business development from an ITperspective and actively strive to catalyze the company's digitalization journey within Enterprise Asset Management

As a Project Manager within the Asset IT organization at Vattenfall IT, your main goal is to enable digital transformation within all business areas producing or distributing energy (Hydro, Wind, Heat, Nuclear & Distribution).

This is a unique role that combines working closely with our business areas, being involved in early phases of business development as well as executing initiatives as an ERP project manager.

Requirements specification

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience in the SAP EAM area, preferably with project management experience. Relevant modules are primarily Plant Maintenace/Maintenance Management (PM), Materials Management (MM), Project Systems (PS)
  • Experience in project management, preferably with a background as a senior functional consultant in the SAP EAM area.
  • An attitude that embraces continuous change and innovation.
  • Several full-cycle implementation projects (from concept to operation and support)
  • Value extraction and evaluation of business cases
