Our project business is now looking for a new Project Manager for management projects.


Responsibilities and tasks

Project management Regionnät is responsible for planning, leading and delivering decided plant investments. We are cohesive for project teams and are responsible for the projects' finances, schedule, function and quality.

As a Project Manager with us, you are ultimately responsible for realizing set goals and have the overall responsibility for managing projects at the right cost, quality and time. This means, among other things, leading and coordinating projects as well as communicating and representing Vattenfall's interests towards other stakeholders such as authorities, municipalities and contractors. Travel in the service occurs.

You will lead and coordinate projects with the help of internal and external support.Your main responsibilities include the following elements:

  • Lead, distribute and follow up the work both internally within the project team and externally through our suppliers and contractors
  • Take overall responsibility within the agreed project framework in terms of finance, schedule, function and quality
  • Follow up and act as a role model for safety work and ensure a safe working environment
  • Create and maintain both external and internal relationships with customers, consultants and authorities and internally interact with other functions within the company
  • Communicate and report project status to relevant stakeholders and ensure that they have the right information
  • Create strategies to develop the procurement process together with purchasing
  • Follow forecast and budget follow-up for approved projects
  • Proactively work with calculation and management of risks in the project

Requirements specification

  • Post-secondary education in energy or electric power, or relevant work experience deemed equivalent
  • Several years of experience in project management of regional network projects in the execution phase with documented good results in management projects.
  • Knowledge of construction law
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
  • Driving license: class B

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Education in project management and/or electrical safety
  • Experience in project management in infrastructure and development
  • Experience working on the supplier side from a customer perspective
  • Experience in mentoring
