This means that the Technical Monitoring business area within Vattenfall Eldistribution continues to grow and is now looking for Project Support in Technical Monitoring.

About the position


Vattenfall Eldistribution is installing more and more security technology in the plant portfolio and the Asset Surveillance department (Technical Surveillance) has a national responsibility for Vattenfall Eldistribution's detection capability in the security area of physical protection. This includes full operational and staffing responsibility for our monitoring centers as well as the operation and management of all security technology within Vattenfall Electricity Distribution such as camera surveillance, area/perimeter protection, burglar alarms, fire alarms and access control systems.

As Project Support in Technical Surveillance, you collaborate with our investment projects to control the design of the security technology in the rebuilding and new construction of substations throughout Sweden.


Examples of tasks:

  • Participate and represent the group in investment projects in the construction of new substations, by acting as a requirement setter for Technical Surveillance
  • Pre-studies and needs analyses for procurement of security-enhancing measures
  • Prepare budget and procurement documents for procurement
  • Evaluate tenders and proposed technical solutions
  • Collaborate with development departments both internally and externally to develop new technical solutions.



Requirements


We are looking for you who

  • Have experience in the technical security industry, in roles such as project manager, project manager, inspector and/or expert
  • Have deep knowledge of the technical systems that the area includes
  • Have good knowledge of SSF 130, SBF 110, (SSF200, SSF210,) SSF 1060, SS-EN 4551201 with underlying standards and norms
  • Has post-secondary education, preferably at university engineer level with a focus on electricity / telecommunications, data communication, networks, IT / OT and / or equivalent knowledge gained in your professional life
  • Swedish and English fluently both in speech and writing
  • Has a B driving license.

It is meritorious if you

  • Are or have been certified as a qualified engineer camera surveillance systems, burglar alarms, fire alarms.
  • Have experience of documentation work in the field.
  • Has industry experience from electricity distribution
  • Has plant knowledge of electricity network facilities
  • Has expertise in key systems, locks and fittings.

We are looking for you who are self-driven in your work and thrive in a cohesive role for technical issues in the area. You are used to handling several assignments at the same time and working in a service-oriented manner towards both internal and external contacts. With your communication skills, you ensure that technical messages reach all stakeholders.
