About the role

The Projects & Technology Department has an important and responsible mission, which is to develop methodology for and manage the nuclear waste arising from Sweden's early nuclear research programs. This includes three specialized units; Radiophysics & Development, Waste Technology & Investigation and Projects & Coordination.

For Projects & Technology, we are now looking for a QA and support manager for IT systems in nuclear technology. About the role

We are now looking for a committed and service-oriented employee who will help us ensure high quality in our deliveries. SVALA is an IT system designed to support waste management and decommissioning in the nuclear power industry and industries that generate radioactive waste.

As QA and Support Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of SVALA and providing our customers with the support they need to succeed with our solutions. You will work closely with both the development team and our business analysts to ensure we deliver what is promised - both in terms of functionality, user experience and documentation. Your main tasks include:

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining QA processes to ensure all deliverables are of the highest possible quality
  • Conduct and document tests to identify areas for improvement
  • Follow up and report test results to relevant parties and suggest improvement actions
  • Interact with product teams to identify and fix quality issues
  • Provide customers with service and technical support
  • Manage, classify and follow up on incoming support cases
  • Lead training and provide user support within SVALA
  • Drive internal improvement processes to streamline and raise the quality of support
  • Create and update documentation to ensure that customers and users have access to clear and up-to-date information.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

  • Relevant university education with a technical focus, or work experience that provides good knowledge in the field
  • Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing
  • Experience in quality work, preferably in software testing or product development

Knowledge of common QA tools and methods, as well as experience working with support cases.

Location: Solna or Studsvik (about 25 km from Nyköping and 100 km south of Stockholm).
