About the role
Do you want a varied job and contribute with your knowledge and develop Forsmark's radiation protection work during audits? Do you also want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply? Then we have an exciting challenge for you!
We are now looking for an Audit Manager to join our Operational Radiation Safety team at Forsmark Power Group. It is a varied job where you to some extent will have given tasks but in addition to that will have to work with incoming assignments as the need arises within the business.
About the job
The group is responsible, among other things, during the three audits for the supervision of the production facilities with regard to radiation protection, follow-up of radiation dose to staff and preparation of work with regard to radiation protection. The group also takes care of report writing, ADR transports and supports the waste group with radiological issues. It is a more intensive period during audits and a larger group to take care of, the group is expanded from five to about 60 people. The remaining time between the audits, the focus is on planning and the next audit when experiences are gathered and report writing takes place.
You will work in a well-mixed group where everyone works with the same purpose - to jointly support the daily operations with radiological knowledge during audits. For those who want to develop, there are career opportunities.
Your tasks
Manage and take care of the daily operations during auditing regarding staff planning, tasks and daily communication with the rest of the organization.
During audits, you work shifts that are scheduled either for the morning or afternoon. The service may also include standby duty, participation as an internal trainer and participation in Forsmark's accident organization, which means duty on some weekends and evenings.
Requirements specification
As a person, you are self-driven, structured and feel great responsibility for your tasks. You attach great importance to quality and perform your work in a safe manner. We see that you are energetic and have a strategic mindset as you will analyze the business, events and data, which you thrive on. There is room for development and innovation, so it is important that you are open to it. Furthermore, you have good social and communication skills, which means that you are good at and enjoy meeting and collaborating with other people in different work groups.
We would like you to have
Experience as a radiation protection technician is highly meritorious. We also consider relevant university studies, experience of working as a supervisor and plant knowledge of Forsmark as meritorious. If you have experience from operation and maintenance work, this is also an advantage.
Depending on your background, there is the possibility of supplementary training and/or internships with the aim of making you more confident in the role.
