About the role
Do you have expertise in radiation protection and want to work with release issues and procedures for radioactive waste in an exciting and developing environment? Do you want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?
We are now looking for a qualified process engineer in radiological safety for the Safety and Quality department - a central role where you can grow both professionally and personally.
The Safety and Quality department is the CEO's support to ensure that operations in Forsmark are conducted with the right quality and in accordance with current requirements. As part of Forsmark's radiation protection expert function, you will work closely with colleagues in the Safety Management Unit and have broad interfaces across the organization - from operational teams to senior management. Your work will be crucial to ensure that we follow the right requirements and maintain high quality in everything we do.

In this role, you are an important link between Forsmark and the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority. You will be responsible for liaising with authorities, managing reporting and following up on results after supervision. In addition, the role opens the door to exciting collaborations with other nuclear facilities and international collaborations.
Requirement specification
A relevant university or college degree is a requirement from the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority for this position, e.g. technical physics, radiophysics, radiation physics or radiochemistry, and you have at least three years of work experience in the field of radiation protection. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
