About the role

Do you want to use your expertise by working on strategic issues and developing the radiation protection area? Do you also want to help ensure Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?

We are now looking for a supervisor for Operational Radiation Protection at Forsmark Power Group.

About the job

The group is responsible for, among other things, the supervision of the production facilities with regard to radiation protection, follow-up of radiation dose to personnel and for the preparation of work with regard to radiation protection and work environment. As a supervisor, you will work in a well-mixed group where everyone works with the same purpose - to jointly support the daily operations with radiological knowledge.

Your tasks

You will supervise and take care of the daily operations regarding staff planning, tasks and daily communication with the rest of the organization. The role includes planning, budgeting and following up radiation protection work. You will drive development work together with the entire radiation protection organization, work proactively and think long-term. It is also important to analyze events and be responsible for longer assignments. You will represent radiation protection in various forums and be an expert in radiation protection issues. In addition, you will write reports and update and write instructions.

The position includes standby duty and participation in Forsmark's accident organization, which means duty on some weekends and evenings.


Requirements

We see that you have

  • High school education and experience of leading others, for example in the form of supervisor, team leader, project manager or similar
  • Fluent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have longer work experience in radiation protection and radiology and plant knowledge of Forsmark. It is also meritorious with experience of report writing and good knowledge of English in both speech and writing.
