About the role

We are now looking for an experienced Real Estate Maintenance Manager for our properties in the Nordic region!

The Real Estate unit is 9 people within Real Estate & Facility Management Nordic (RE& FM Nordic) responsible for premises supply and managing 11,000 workplaces, strategies and maintenance of primarily commercial properties in Sweden but also other parts of the Nordic region. As Real Estate Maintenance Manager, you are primarily responsible for maintenance, inspection and management plans, which must also be carefully documented and updated in our systems for budget decisions, purchasing and execution.

With the support of management plans for the properties, you will need to create both short-term and long-term maintenance plans that guide decisions on investments and repairs. The position of Real Estate Maintenance Manager is strategically important for our real estate portfolio and places high demands on sustainable and long-term property utilization.

Your main duties as Real Estate Maintenance Manager are:

  • Clarify the maintenance process in coordination with REFM, BU and our business plan.
  • Strategically manage the planned maintenance work using system support and processes to ensure that the condition of the properties is documented in a structured way.
  • Conduct site visits and spot checks to ensure that inspection and maintenance plans are in order, which also applies to the purchase of new properties.
  • Package new projects for the property portfolio to streamline procurement.
  • Continuously analyze skills and resource needs.
  • Contact person and work management of consultants and contractors.
  • Responsible for management plans, inspections and sustainability issues.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory requirements.


Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field and/or acquired equivalent work experience
  • Several years of experience in property management
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT, project finance or portfolio/program management
  • Express yourself well in speech and writing both in Swedish and English
  • Very good computer and system skills. You are skilled with the Office package, and preferably have experience of CAD, SAP and Planon
  • B driving license
