The Vattenfall Group has around 20,000 employees. We have been electrifying industries, powering homes and transforming lives through innovation for over a century. We now want to make fossil-free living possible within a generation and we are driving the transition to a sustainable energy system.

About the role

Vattenfall is recognized as one of the pioneers in the energy transition and through that we enable climate-smarter lives for all our customers.

However, our investment power, our innovation and our ambitious agenda to become fossil-free in one generation can only be achieved if we can rely on reliable and competitive production from our nuclear power plants. To meet this challenge, we are investing in our people and continue to hire exceptional IT talent. Together with our team, we are driving Vattenfall Nuclear to become a data-driven company, enabling them to optimize decision-making and investment planning.

This means that we design

  • Our enterprise resource planning and logistics solutions on SAP S/4HANA

  • Solutions that are critical to the Swedish infrastructure and society and regulated under the Security Protection Act (2018:585)
  • Full IT/OT collaboration to ensure frictionless transfer of data in (near) real-time to support predictive maintenance use cases
  • IT infrastructure and solutions that have high security, scalability and reliability
  • Strategic solutions/environments to optimize nuclear maintenance strategies

Our team needs skilled solution architects with a business focus; You know how to use technology to make nuclear power run like clockwork, you act as a timekeeper to ensure we reach our ambitious goals and be a warning bell if we can do even better! Our Group IT Architecture team, consisting of 30 Enterprise/Solution Architects, is involved in around 100+ key projects simultaneously and focuses on enterprise architecture and solution architecture for all of Vattenfall's business units. We act as the hub to understand the business needs and to see the bigger picture for Vattenfall and help our teams to confidently adopt tomorrow's technologies.

Your main responsibilities:

  • You will advise and educate the nuclear business on SAP, IT strategy, integration strategy, data strategy and SAP strategy, etc.
  • You have a solid understanding of IT security and will support the nuclear plants in appropriate adaptations.
  • You will have (or build up) knowledge in nuclear and SAP to become the main contact person to promote their journey with S/4.

You will be our trusted advisor to our nuclear plants and other business areas to enable their operating model through technology - even if it means radical change!
