About the role

Do you want to work internationally to secure our IT landscape? Your primary tasks will be to participate in projects by supporting IT and Information Security Officers with the security protection perspective and developing and practicing security protection work for Vattenfall's internal IT operations. Furthermore, it is also part of the role to conduct internal consulting related to Security Protection. Our assets are spread across different European countries and the rapidly evolving digitalization is leading to increased cyber threats and has also resulted in several local and international security regulations which makes our work both challenging and interesting. You should have several years (1+ years) of current and relevant professional experience in the field of Security Protection including IT and Information Security. In addition, you should have experience and knowledge in the following:

• Experience and knowledge in producing Suitability and Special Security Assessments (SSAs).
• Experience in administering and conducting background checks and personnel security clearances.
• Experience in delivering and developing training courses to employees or external parties in the field of Security Protection.
• Experience working with physical security related to areas covered and affected by security protection

Requirements specification

To thrive in this role, the following competencies, skills and experience are considered essential:

• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations in the field of security protection, with experience in interpreting and guiding the organization to become and maintain compliance with the requirements of the Security Protection Act 2018:585, the Security Protection Ordinance 2021:955 and especially in the regulation PMFS 2022:1, with associated guidance.
• Experience of working with security protection within authorities is meritorious
• Experience of working with the implementation of other regulations and frameworks (e.g. NIS2, ISO27000 series)
• Experience of leading the development and implementation of SSBs, Security Protection Analyses and the development of Security Protection Plans incl. instructions.
• Fluent in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
• Excellent collaboration skills, responsibility and a result-oriented mindset.
• A holistic perspective and strong collaboration skills.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining Security Protection Contracts and Security Protection Agreements

Location:

The position is in Sweden, VF office. Hybrid work is possible, but most of the work will be done physically in the office. There is the possibility to combine home office with visiting your head office and there may be international travel to one of the other Vattenfall locations.
