Vattenfall AB Värme Uppsala produces and delivers a total of about 1500 GWh of district heating in Uppsala, Knivsta and Storvreta. In Uppsala, district cooling is also produced and delivered, steam and the plant produces electricity. The business consists of waste incineration as a base and mainly biofuel-fired plants as a complement during the cold part of the year.
In Sweden, we supply district heating, district cooling and steam to industries, property owners and residential customers in fifteen municipalities. Värme Sverige is the fourth largest district heating supplier in Sweden and supplies sustainable heating to around 200,000 Swedish households and heating, cooling and steam to industrial customers. We are particularly proud that our main product, district heating, plays an important role in the new circular society.
About the role

Vattenfall Värme is now looking for an automation engineer with system management responsibility who wants to be involved in influencing tomorrow's climate-smart society and help our customers steer towards a fossil-free life.
As a senior automation engineer, you will be involved in the planning and follow-up of the preventive and remedial maintenance of analysis, control and control equipment. You will also participate in remodeling and extension projects as a requirement setter, and be part of the procurement of framework agreements and the like.
You will have system responsibility and management responsibility for parts of the plant's automation system and network, which includes:
The role will also be part of remedial maintenance, both as a performer and in support of our technicians. You will get to work in our maintenance system SAP-PM with plant records, work order management, maintenance plans, etc.
The work is varied, you will, for example, be out in our business close to our core business, participate in project meetings, work in teams, but also independently in and outside your office.
The service also includes scheduled standby duty.
Requirement specification
We will attach great importance to your personal qualities as well and would like to see that you are flexible and can quickly adapt to changing needs and situations. You are driven by problem solving and enjoy taking initiative to drive your work forward and get things done. You have good interpersonal skills and are an effective communicator. The position also requires you to have a structured approach to maintaining a safe facility with a good working environment.
