About the role

In the role of senior Business Controller, you will be part of a team of 13 people located in Solna. You will work as a unit controller for one of our units where you are part of the management team and own and drive issues in finance. You will also participate and contribute to continuous improvement and development work to streamline processes, working methods and tools within the controlling team.

This is a business-supporting, broad and varied role, which means that you need to have a genuine interest in understanding the business with a curious and solution-oriented approach.

Your main tasks include:

• follow-up of costs and KPI:s
• participate in year-end closing
• analysis and presentation of results and profitability issues
• driving budget and forecasting work
• management reporting
• support managers in follow-up and operational planning
• act as a sounding board on business issues
• train and contribute to increased understanding of managers on finance-related issues

Requirements specification

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have:

• an academic degree in finance
• 5-7 years of experience in qualified work in controlling/financial management
• experience in accounting
• deep knowledge of Excel, decision support and business systems
• you communicate fluently in speech and writing in Swedish and English
• experience in participating and driving change work

It is meritorious if you have experience in the energy industry and if you have worked in SAP and Power BI.

Personal qualities:

You have the ability to communicate economic relationships in an easy-to-understand way.

You are self-driven, analytical and solution-oriented person with a sense of structure and wholeness. You have a good ability to build trust and create relationships, while being flexible enough to adapt in a changing environment. We attach great importance to your personal qualities.
