Business Area (BA) Markets’ role in Vattenfall is to maximize the value of the overall portfolio by optimizing and dispatching, hedging, and sourcing for Vattenfall's sales and generation volumes. The Operational Unit (OU) Operations is responsible for providing Analysis, IT, Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM), and Project Management support to the Vattenfall Assets and Trading Division - the mission is to enable business. OU Operations consists of highly skilled employees with backgrounds ranging from mathematics, engineering, economics, computer science to project management. We are present in Hamburg, Stockholm, and Amsterdam.

Job Description

(Senior) Energy Trading Market Access Software Specialist / 2nd Level Support
in the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) Market Access & Intraday Solutions team.
This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious IT professionals who are looking for a challenging and diverse job within a leading energy company in one of the fastest-changing and evolving trading areas.
Market Access enables business in BA Markets through timely and sustainable delivery of application development and support in the area of Energy Trading. You will be responsible for our Market Access applications, from system analyses and daily support to change management. This includes the coordination of external software suppliers, configuration management, follow-up on market changes, and on-the-floor trader support.
