We at Vattenfall Eldistribution are growing and right now we are looking for several competent employees for our architecture team.

You will belong to an architecture function with broad expertise in Enterprise, Business, IT and Information Architecture. The architecture department consists of about 20 employees and consultants with the task of directing, supporting and managing the design of the company's architecture with a focus on and data / information, IT and Operational Technology (OT).

As an IT architect with us, you will have a central role in shaping and driving our long-term IT and digitization strategy in the area of Customer, Market & Measurement, which includes the life cycle of our customer meeting, network connection, market contacts and the entire metrics collection. You will work on building our backend in the customer, market and measurement area, which includes everything from platform and application modernization, integration and interoperability to ensuring the architecture of the service development in the front end. Information and data quality issues will be a central part of the work. The work also involves close collaboration with the security function and you will have many interfaces, stakeholders and actors both externally and internally, including to our group-wide IT (Vattenfall IT).

We are moving towards a domain-driven and business-oriented architecture work and you will, together with other architects in the team, be involved in shaping and establishing new working methods and methods in close collaboration with both business and IT.

Examples of tasks/responsibilities;

  • Drive co-creation and anchoring of our future IT landscape in close collaboration with IT and the business
  • Lead and contribute to the work of developing target architecture, roadmaps and architecture principles in the area to ensure effective portfolio management.
  • Participate in/support projects, conduct analyses and develop and communicate decision-making documents and architecture to various target groups
  • Together with other architects and the business, ensure that the architecture is up to date and coherent
  • Skills development and business intelligence in your area
  • Participate in the work of further developing common architecture methods and tools

Requirements specification

  • Relevant education from university or college in IT, computer science or equivalent
  • Experience of architecture work in roles such as Domain Architect, IT Architect, Solution Architect and/or System Architect
  • Experience with web platforms, CMS systems, SAP, Microsoft dynamics, customer case orchestration, etc.
  • You have experience of major IT modernization and computer transformation projects in complex IT environments, preferably in transaction-heavy and security-classified operations.
  • Experience in producing decision-making documents, developing and communicating target architectures and roadmaps.
  • Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience and ability to apply methods and frameworks (SAFe, TOGAF etc) and architecture tools (we use Sparx Enterprise Architect) to create architecture that delivers customer and business value.
  • Experience in data and integration transformations and cloud solutions in a hybrid environment is meritorious
