The business is conducted from our head office located in Nyköping and from our training facilities located close to the nuclear power plants in Forsmark, Oskarshamn and Ringhals. In Forsmark we also have the Technology and Training Center, TTC, where we have a unique opportunity to conduct operational training. KSU, with about 170 employees, is part of the Vattenfall Group.

About the role
Do you want to contribute to safe and fossil-free nuclear power? Kärnkraftsäkerhet och Utbildning AB (KSU) is now looking for Service Engineers based in Forsmark.
Who are we at KSU? One of our most important tasks is to train the Swedish nuclear power plants' operating and maintenance personnel. We contribute to the safe and stable operation of nuclear power and together with our customers we create the training of the future. In this position you will belong to the Support Simulator Systems department. We perform support and operation of full-scale and graphical simulators in Forsmark. To deliver high availability in the simulators, through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Your tasks
You will be part of the activities around planning, service and maintenance on KSU's simulator installations. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that the equipment in the simulator has a high level of availability through troubleshooting, support, spare parts maintenance, repairs and rebuilds in accordance with the requirements for the simulator.
The role also means that you will be one of the "spiders" in the web when it comes to support for the simulator. You will have both internal and external contacts with training units and nuclear power plants. This requires the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues locally and remotely. The service involves about 5-15 travel days a year to our facilities around the country.
Requirement specification
As a person, you have a great interest in technology and enjoy understanding and solving problems. Furthermore, you have a good sense of service, enjoy working with others and have the ability to work independently. You plan and prioritize your work to meet commitments in line with the business as your work impacts the rest of the organization. Thus, it is also important that you are communicative, flexible and can handle work under time pressure.
