About the role

We are now looking for a driven service technician for the Wind Power Plants in Fredrika who wants to be part of the journey towards fossil freedom!

Vattenfall Vindkraft is in an exciting growth phase and is now looking for a wind power technician. As a service technician you will work with:

  • Troubleshooting on advanced machines in mechanics, electrical engineering and hydraulics
  • Ongoing and periodic maintenance
  • Remedial measures
  • Fault reporting
  • Participate in the design and improvement of working methods
  • Work with Vestas wind turbines

Vattenfall puts safety first when working in our wind turbines. It is important that you have a good physique as the work is mostly done at high altitude.

We work 4 days a week and the working hours are between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. There may be travel with overnight stays in the service.


Requirement specification

  • We are looking for you who have at least an upper secondary education in electrical engineering, preferably in combination with mechanics and / or hydraulics.
  • Practical experience of service and troubleshooting on advanced machines and work in wind power technology is a requirement.
  • Driving license is a requirement.
  • Good IT ability for administration in IT systems. Experience of SAP is meritorious.
  • Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both in speech and writing as the group language is English.

High safety thinking, self-driven working methods and good collaboration skills are abilities that we value highly. We would like you to be good at planning and prioritizing even with many balls in the air. We assume that you are committed, attentive and careful.

Advantageous

It is highly meritorious if you have a completed and approved YH education in Wind Power. It is also meritorious if you have knowledge in hydraulics.
