Geab operates through three companies, the parent company Gotlands Energi AB and the subsidiaries Gotlands Elförsäljning AB and Gotlands Elnät AB. About the role

Together we make a difference, and we are currently looking for technicians in street lighting.

About the position

As a street lighting technician at Gotlands Elnät, you work in a group of competent colleagues whose task is to ensure a lit and safe environment for Gotland. The technicians themselves describe the work as varied and broad. If you like to work in the fresh air together in a team and where you have the whole of Gotland as your workplace, this may be the service for you.

This is what you will do

• Perform operation and maintenance work as well as troubleshooting on behalf of our external customers in both street lighting and traffic lights.
• Work preventively and with emergency measures to reduce operational disturbances.
• Be involved in developing our working methods for a world-class work environment.

Requirements

Your background

• Education in electricity or experience of working with electricity (for example, you may have worked as an electrician, installer, lighting technician or similar).
• Manual B driving license is a requirement, C driving license is an advantage.

Who are you

You are a responsible and positive person who enjoys working in the field and with others. As a person, you like to solve technical problems in a thorough and structured way. You appreciate the freedom of work and have a desire to make a difference in your role. Working safely is a matter of course for you.
