About the job

The group works with structural verification in strength, fatigue of materials, earthquake and vibration, but also analysis of mechanical behavior and function of structures. Our focus is that the plant is robustly designed against loads in case of required events.

As an engineer in structural mechanics and strength, you will work together with experienced employees with a wide range of expertise in technical analyzes. It is a small, unpretentious group that has good cohesion and together contributes to developing and managing the plant.

Your tasks:

  • Conduct various technical analyses and calculations in structural mechanics and strength
  • Verify that various structures can withstand current loads, dynamic as well as static
  • Assist with technical support for other departments at Ringhals

Evaluate measurement data and assess the resistance of mechanical devices to vibrations

Requirements specification

We would like you to have:

  • Civil engineering degree or a master's degree with relevant specialization
  • Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and good knowledge of English

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Work experience in the relevant field of FEM analysis, vibration engineering or nuclear power
  • Skills in calculation software
  • Experience in programming
  • Knowledge of German and/or French language
