Vattenfall Eldistribution AB distributes electricity to households, companies and society - around the clock all year round. Our electricity network is over 12,000 miles long and we distribute electricity to almost 900,000 customers. We build, operate, maintain and invest in our electricity network to ensure that you as a customer receive a reliable supply.

Vattenfall Eldistribution, Asset Management unit, is responsible for the management of our facilities and electricity network. The Network Analysis LN group works with the dimensioning of the electricity network, and we are now looking for an assistant network analyst for a summer job.

As an Assistant Grid Analyst, you will calculate and update electrical data in our systems. You will be part of a team working on dimensioning the electricity grid and ensuring that our systems are adapted to the needs of the future.

In the new energy landscape, we see an increased presence of solar cells, infrastructure for electric cars, wind power, server halls and population densification in growth areas. This affects the long-term network planning and how we build our electricity network going forward.


Requirement specification

We are looking for a committed and driven person for a summer job as an assistant network analyst. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with interesting and challenging tasks in electricity network analysis.

Requirements:

  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You speak and write fluently in Swedish, and preferably have knowledge of English.
  • You are enrolled in an ongoing civil engineering education, preferably in electrical power (meritorious).
  • Experience from working at an electricity network company is meritorious.

We are looking for you who:

  • As a persistent and self-driven person with good collaboration skills.
  • Have the ability to organize and structure your work in an efficient way.
  • Drives to put commitment and energy into your work and has a strong will to drive processes forward.

Has good numerical and analytical skills, where you can quickly and correctly solve numerical tasks and understand complex numerical data.
